Unfortunately, the remote control's batteries died and of course when I had to change the batteries, the remote needed reprogramming. My friend does not seem to know where the manual to this thing may be, and I've had no luck finding one online. None of those work. I tried the manual code search, with no luck. Can anyone tell me how I can get one of these two remotes to control my new television, or a remote that I can buy that would be more easily compatible?

The web page for Advent TV was not helpful at all. On September 25, at , brian said I learned on another thread that unplugging the television for at least 4 hours will reset all the internal programming back to what it was when the set left the factory.
