This is an old. Blued steel. Please see all the pictures for the best description. The only flaws I can find on this beauty are some tiny surface rust spots on the lower right front part of the tube- in front of the front ring: barely noticeable but I tried to show it in the bright sunlight, which probably makes it looks worse.
Also, there are two small splits at the front of each turret housing, which could be fixed simply with some super glue. It is a GREAT looking vintage scope whether you fix those areas or not, and it doesn't hurt function at all. The glass is clear and bright. For such a small scope. It has a fine non-duplex reticle. No fog, The included tip-off, style rings look and function great but they DO have some scuffs where someone used the wrong sized screwdriver probably the original owner.

Loosen the retention screws holding the mounting bracket at the base of the rings and attach the scope rings to the rail mount. Adjust the scope position for eye relief and image clarity.
